How can I manage heartburn during pregnancy?

Ranitidine. Ranitidine 150-300mg daily could help. Do no lie down for 2 hour after eating, reduce caffeine intake.
Small meals to start. First, eat smaller meals more frequently in pregnancy. Your stomach doesn't empty as quickly making heartburn worse. If you still have trouble, try Tums or other antacids. If this isn't helpful, Pepcid (famotidine) can be used in pregnancy to relieve heartburn. Be sure to talk to your doctor to make sure these are safe for you.
