Even if lip piercing does not cause cancer it can erode gum tissue from around a tooth.
So, while you are saving up money to pay for a lip piercing put some aside for future periodontal surgery. Bottom line - it is a health risk. Take care.

..It would be a far shot...Smoking and alcohol are strong risks... What cancer? Is it squamous? How old? Gender? The virus which causes cervical cancer was found through oral sex and transmission to cause mouth cancer.
