In brief: Increase risk
Fibroids most commonly do not affect pregnancy.
However if they are large or on the inside lining of the uterus, they can cause complications such as miscarriage, preterm labor and preterm birth. Sometimes they increase the likelihood of a cesarean section.

In brief: Depends on wherethey
Are and how big they are.
Multiple, large fibroids can ultimately constrict the space the growing fetus needs. This increases risk for preterm birth, growth restriction. Also might result in increased discomfort in pregnancy requiring extra visits to md office. Fibroids themselves are not an indication for c-section.
