In brief: Unfortunately, poor

Unfortunately, the survival rates for ovarian cancer remain poor, despite advances in treatment.
The overall survival at 5 years is 46%. However, survival varies greatly depending on the stage at diagnosis. Those diagnosed at stage I have a 5 year survival rate of around 80%, stage ii is around 55%, stage iii is around 30%, and stage IV is around 10%.

In brief: If early pretty good

Pretty good if detected early , unfortunately no specific tumor markers for such detection like psa as in prostate ca , and other current tumor markers like ca 125, ca 19.
9 ca 17.4 & cea are non specific and do not detect in early stages best bet is awareness, regular visits to gyn doctor, if indicated sonography then only the out look will get better, currently bad.
