Urology

In brief: Get evaluated.

There are many causes of swelling in the scrotum, such as infections of the testicle or epididymis (orchitis) or accumulations of fluid (hydrocele, spermatocele).
Many are benign, but infections & tumors should be evaluated & cannot be missed. See you primary care physician or a urologist. A detailed history and physical exam can determine if a scrotal ultrasound is necessary for further workup.
