How helpful is the fertility drug femara (letrozole)?

Very helpful. Femara or Letrozole is an oral ovulation induction medication. It works sometimes when Clomid (clomiphene) doesn't. It also helps pregnancies to occur when Clomid (clomiphene) fails. It seems to be very helpful especially in patients with pcos. The pregnancy rates are similar to Clomid (clomiphene) but the side effects are less and the multiple pregnancies seem to be also less.

I hav pcos. What supplement can I take with femara (letrozole) to improve egg quality n fertility? Can vitex (chaste berry) be taken with femara (letrozole)?

Not take. There's nothing useful for you to 'take' (at least without prescription) at home: healthy diet and moderate exercise is a good start. There's probably no harm in using vitex but there's also no benefit, I'd stay away from it. Read more...
