In brief: Hopefully nothing

This is fairly routine, superficial surgery and complications are rare.
It is theoretically possible to cause damage to surrounding nerves or blood vessels in addition to usual risks (infection, poor wound healing, etc).

In brief: Many:not common

There are many potential complications such as infection, bleeding, scarring, pain, numbness, tendon or nerve injury, incomplete release, swelling, and many other possibilities.
Fortunately these are not common.
