It may not help. If you're already using antihistamines like zyrtec daily and not getting enough relief, please see your doctor. Why does mucinex (guaifenesin) dm seem to be tremendously helping my acid reflux and allergies its clearing up mucus and I know its reflux from food I eat?

I can only guesis that the mucinex (guaifenesin) has left a coating floating above your stomach content thereby preventing acid and food from coming back- there is no scientific proof.
