Valium or klonopin (clonazepam) better for myclonus? Have been on valium, but is startin' not 2 work...Neuro say klonopin (clonazepam) is usually used! Would it be a better tx

Possibly. Both drugs are in the benzodiazepine family; so both should work. Both are used for muscle spasm, periodic leg movements, etc. If you've been taking valium for a while, its effect may be lessening; so a switch to Klonopin (clonazepam) may bring more relief. Perhaps alternating between them as body adapts to one will provide relief for longer time. Otherwise, see doc for alternate med family.
Myoclonus. Both medications have shown favorable response for myoclonus, both can eventually show tolerance & limited response. If your doctor recommended klonopin, (clonazepam) it is worth a try.
