In brief: Facial Hair -Obesity

Hirsute is common with patients suffering from obesity, it is thought to be due to imbalances in hormones yielding masculine effects in women.
Though weight loss would not be thought of as the first treatment for this condition it would likely be helpful both for extra hairiness as well many of the other co-morbidities of overweight.

In brief: Sorry, no.

They are unrelated, except possibly by the distant association of altered hormone levels with significant changes in weight.
Weight reduction is good in and of itself, but will likely have no effect on facial hair. Consider laser hair removal.
