Are braxton hicks ok at 28 weeks?

Still contractions. Braxton-hicks although normal @ 28 weeks are still contractions. If they are recurrent (> 4/hour), cause pelvic pressure or persistent pain, or increased mucousy vaginal discharge, get checked by your ob. Try to limit any activities that cause these contractions (intercourse, exercise, lifting, etc) & call your OB if any of these signs of preterm labor persist or worsen. Take care.
