You should keep active throughout your pregnancy.
Just about everyone can exercise during pregnancy. Yoga and walking are good for those who are not used to exercise. You can continue almost any exercise during pregnancy. If you have medical or pregnancy complications, you should ask your doctor before exercising.

Exercise in pregnancy has been shown to decease the amount of pain women describe in labor, as well, a study reported that exercise shortened labor. Exercise decreases risk for developing gestational diabetes, hypertension and pre-eclampsia.
As others have said, stay hydrated! but old adage about not getting heart rate elevated has been found false. So exercise away!

Agree w Dr. Wright. Exercise is healthy as long as your obstetrician has not cautioned you to avoid it due to a risk situation.
