Surgery

In brief: No way to prevent

The only way to get rid of lipomas is to surgically remove them.

In brief: None

There's no good way to prevent lipomas.
The only way to treat them is to excise or surgically remove them. Most insurance companies don't reimburse for this procedure for cosmetic reasons (you don't like how it looks) so i only recommend it if it affects your occupation (impacts your function or movement) or clothing (it's irritated by belt or bra, etc).
