Have you heatd the expression: "everything in moderation?" rice has alot of starch, which is not good especially if you don't try to eat it in moderation.
That means a little is okay but alot is not. They say to avoid eating too much of the white foods, like: bread, pasta, potatos and rice. Less is more and better when it concerns starchy foods. Finally, brown rice is better for you than white is.
