Unlikely. It is very rare for someone your age to develop colon cancer. Colonoscopy is a good to evaluate and rule out your colon from having other issues in addition to colon cancer. If u have been diagnosed with colon cancer and these aymptoms are happening then they could be treatment related or other issues. Two things come to mind- (1) You have an adverse drug reaction to Prilosec (stopping it for a few days would be justified) or (2) Your problem is not from acid reflux at all or it may just be a coincidence.
