Neurology
In brief: MENINGIOMA
Meningiomas, particularly those < 2 cm in diameter, are among the most common intracranial tumors.
Amore common among women. These tumors tend to occur between ages 40 and 60 but can occur during childhood. These benign tumors can develop wherever there is dura, most commonly over the convexities near the venous sinuses, along the base of the skull, in the posterior fossa, and rarely within ventri.
