My appendix ruptured 9 years ago, now we are trying to conceive and no luck. Could it have caused damage and now i'm infertile? I am 33.

In brief: Possibly, keep tryin

You are correct in suggesting that your remote ruptured appy can cause pelvic adhesions and tubal factor infertility.
On the other hand, infertility is diagnosed at your age after >12 months of regular (i.e. 3 times weekly) vaginal intercourse without successful conception. If that period has lapsed, see a reproductive endocrinologist infertility specialist with your partner to get resolution!

In brief: Possibly yes

A ruptured viscus like the appendix can be messy stuff, and cause considerable fibrosis.
It's possible such scarring could negatively impact your fertility, but a fertility specialist is best equipped to address this and other possiblities. Don't give up trying to conceive after just 4 months however.
