In brief: Complications rare..

Bad things can happen like infection spreading to the cheek, eye or brain, but this is rare nowadays with antibiotics.
If you have a cold that lasts for over ten days, is associated with vision changes, or any serious symptoms, get seen and evaluated.

In brief: Need specifics

There are many people who have x-ray evidence of sinusitis and are entirely asymptomatic.
Sinusitis only means you have inflammation in the sinuses. If you are asymptomatic, no treatment is required. Obviously if you have symptoms such as fullness and pain and pressure, then you need medical attention because your quality of life would not be good.

In brief: Sinusitis

It may resolve spontaneously.
However, it may not in which case it can be much more difficult to treat and may result in the need for surgery. Better to get it treated if you have had symptoms for more than 10-14 days.
