Secondary to some identified problem = colitis, appendicitis, crohn's , etc. Then lymphadenopathy due to some primary problem ( malignancy, lymphoma, metastasis).

And particularly in children, but occasionally in adults, Strep throat can procduce mesenteric lymphadenitis. See a doctor.
