In brief: School or work

It is not legally mandated that you tell these locations, but it allows them to make sure all individuals who are exposed can be treated if needed.

For the sake of the other families at school, you should absoluetly report...it is highly contagious and you child can get reinfected if another classmate has it again because the family was not informed to treat.

In brief: School

School require notification but regulrly check if there is one.
Case to minimize spread in a classroom or to other classes within the same school.School will require medical documentation that infection is completely gone before reentering school.

In brief: Yes

Notifying the staff in charge will be very helpful.
That way individuals can get treated and precautions taken. This will help stop the spread of lice.
