What are the best ways to breastfeed twins?

In brief: Set a schedule

Setting times to feed seems to work best.
Some moms prefer to feed one at a time, giving full individual attention to each child while others feed both simultaneously. Having an extra set of limbs to hold both kids would help as well. Wouldn't that be great?

In brief: 1 or both at a time

Twins can be breastfed or bottle fed at the same time, or fed individually.
If the twins demand more breastmilk than mom makes, then formula can be given after breastfeeding.

In brief: At the same time

If at all possible, learn to get the babies to latch on at the same time.
This will help prevent exhaustion for you.
