Is there a way to use laser surgery to get rid of acne?

Lasers can help. For moderate acne with red bumps and some white heads, it can work very well with repeated treatments....Ie it is not a cure. For cystic acne it does not work as well for everybody, but it helps. For comedonal acne, ie just black heads...Not very effective. Don't expect a cure, but lasers can help a lot. Combined with a chemical called ala, aka photodynamic therapy, it works even better.

Products, info, or cold laser surgery for dark eye circles please? Really need to get rid of this!

Simple treatments. I recommend 1. Cucumber slices 15min both eyes. 2. Good rest. 3. Wet tea bags over both eyes for 10 min. 4. Creams containing retinoids and or niacinamide. If these don't work, then a very thin microabrasion. I would not recommend laser for dark circles. See your dermatologist for the creams and other treatment. Read more...

Consider biopsy. Any discoloration or suspicious or different "looking" area should have a biopsy. This way you know for sure. Read more...

Mole? I am not saying that it is not possible, but I have never seen a true "mole" in the mouth. Perhaps your dentist just termed it that. If you want an answer from an expert, see an oral surgeon or oral pathologist. Generally, the only way to know for sure what it is, is to have it surgically removed and biopsied. Read more...
Evaluation. It may be possible to identify the spot as an amalgam tattoo which is a benign consequence of silver filling material incorporating into the gum tissue. If that appears unlikely from clinical exam, i agree with the other doctors regarding getting a biopsy. Once you really know what it is then the technology to treat it can be chosen wisely. Would acne laser surgery remove my acne for good?

No. Even in the 21st century, acne can only be managed until it self-cures on its own. If topical benzoyl peroxide 5% 2x/day hasn't cleared you in two weeks, your personal physician will work with you to find the right prescription-strength treatment. If you're offered isotretinoin, it will clear you for at least several months though it's not for the faint-hearted. Read more...
