In brief: No

Even though mumps is very contagious, a person that has already had mumps once in their lifetime will never be able to get it again.
They get life long immunity. So, the answer is no, you cannot get mumps more than once in your lifetime. The vaccination should protect you also.

You may get a parotitis ( swollen salivary glands) from a different germ & some might want to call it mumps, but various viruses & bacteria can produce the problem.

Agree with both of the above

In brief: Usually not.

In almost every case of second mumps infection there has been a shadow of correct diagnosis for the first episode.
So if you really get mumps once and you have normal immune system it is pretty hard to get it again.
