In brief: Afrin (oxymetazoline)

Afrin, (oxymetazoline) but it should be used with great caution for only a short period of time, 2 to4 days because of its addictive potential and the rebound phenomenon with is very common.

To use properly, tilt your head forward at 45 degrees and tilt the spray toward you at 45 degrees and only spray One Time and then wait 5-10 minutes to see effectiveness. Reapply second time only if you need to at that time as the first dose will have opened the nasal passages. Multiple sprays increases chance of rebound. Only use 2-4 days as Dr Humphreys meantioned
