Can you contract toxoplasmosis from another human?

In brief: Not generally

Toxoplasmosis is usually acquired from eating raw or undercooked meat or from cat feces in which the oocysts excreted from the feline GI tract mature to infected forms for humans.
Once you get toxoplasmosis you may not have symptoms but the organism stays with you for a lifetime. It is conceivable that blood transfusion transmission may occur, or through needle exchange.
