In brief: Concussion

There was an injury to the brain considering the mechanism of the injury and the symptom of unconciousness.
But the chances of significant brain damage are small. Normally a head CT is done for someone after a car accident to be sure there is no bleeding. If there is none, then a concussion is normally diagnosed.

Concussion by definition= LOC. Not by CT.

In brief: Very individual

Generally good prognosis in a young healthy individual.
In other words, very low probability.
