Diffuse scleroderma would likely be rapidly progressive, with symmetric skin thickening of extremities, skin and trunk.
Visceral involvement is also more likely sooner, like renal and cardiac involvement. Also things like ESR would be elevated. Apparently positive ANA anticentromere pattern would be associated with the limited cutaneous or crest form of scleroderma. See your dr. For more tests.
