My baby's organs are reversed. What complications of situs inversus totalis?

Possible none. If your baby's organs are a perfect mirror image of normal the nothing will happen. Problems arise when the situs inversus is partial and this may result in malrotation. This would require surgery to fix.
Situs inversus. There is a syndrome known as karteneger syndrome which consists of situs inersus, chronic sinusitus and bronchiectasis. The major cause is due to a defect in ciliary motility.
