Dr. David Mann
ENT - Head & Neck Surgery
In brief: Runny nose
It depends on the cause.
For runny nose associated with allergy, then nasal steroids, nasal antihistamines and oral antihistamines work well. If you have non-allergic runny nose (often elderly people get this with eating) then a nasal spray called atrovent works best ! if over the counter meds dont help, see your doctor.
