How common is it for people under 30 to wear progressive glasses?

Ophthalmology - LASIK Surgery
In brief: Uncommon
For patients under age 45 with normal vision and without prior eye surgery, bifocals of any kind are rarely needed.
Patients with poor vision and/or a history of cataract surgery will most likely need bifocals to improve near vision. Progressive just means that it is a "no-line" bifocal.
