I was diagnosed w/multiple disorders;bpd, depression n bi-polar plus a drunk. Could alcohol been the main issue n mimicking those symptoms?

Great Masquerader. Alcoholism can masquerade for and worsen all the conditions you mention. Except, borderline personality disorder is a more longstanding, pervasive behavior pattern that usually predates the alcoholism. There's a lot of suffering in it, and when someone's in abandonment depression or rage, it can be confused with bipolar. Meds alone don't help nearly as much as ongoing psychotherapy does.
Alcohol. Alcohol is not cause of personality but it can trigger other symptoms of mood changes & definitely makes recovery difficult.
