In brief: Trauma

Generally this is caused by some type of trauma; manual stimulation prior to intercourse without lubrication can lead to this.
If the vaginal ph is not acidic, this can lead to sensitivity to both partners. Lubrication is the key.

In brief: Which test?

The quick answer is "see your doctor." but i would point out that there is no single "std test.
" the test for syphilis is different from the test for herpes, which is different from the tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia. So i'm not sure what you mean when you say your std test is negative.
