Is a vaginal delivery for a first pregnancy possible after a myomectomy?

In brief: Usually not

Any incisions on the uterus from previous myomectomies or multiple c-sections puts you at risk for a uterine rupture when your contractions start during labor.
This is when the old scar opens up, which can lead to catastrophic consequences for you and your baby. For this reason, a c-section is recommended after a myomectomy.

In brief: Often it can be done

It is similar to other women who had c-sections and then tried vaginal birth.
It is a bit more risky in term of uterine rupture, but can be done. Discuss the pros and cons with your OB doc. Good luck with your pregnancy and birth of the baby. Congrats.
