In brief: Seek Consultation
Daily asthma attacks are labeled as "uncontrolled".
This is very important. Please contact a local internist or pulmonary specialist. Medications will need to be started or adjusted. Also, environmental triggers should be investigated: pet dander, dust, smoke, pollen, etc. She may need nebulizer treatments or be placed on a mild steroid regimine. Consider an air purifier. Dont wait with asthma!

In brief: Asthma Specialist
An asthma specialist/allergist will assess for various triggers (allergic and nonallergic), perform an exam and lung function tests and other necessary tests to determine why symptoms are occurring frequently.
An asthma action plan with a well thought out medication regimen that tries to avoid oral steroids, yet control the asthma is possible. Monitoring and adjusting medications is necessary.

The kids PCP may be able to fix this if you let them know what is happening.

Agree, good communication with PCP is important such that all treating physicians as well as patient and family are confident and on board with the treatment plan. Thanks.
