In brief: MOST ARE SAFE
Most are safe and do not destroy the liver, but some antibiotics like tetracyclines, sulpha, flucanazole, bacrim, nitrofuratoin and quinolones are sometimes known to have acute liver necrosis, but it is rare and we use these antibiotics daily without any ill effects if you use combinetion antibiotic and long term you need to monitor liver functions and some blood levels, and liver enzumes as well.
