Laparotomy with dye in tubes years ago during menstruation. Now pain on both sides. Related?

The procedure you had sounds like chromotubation, a test to see if tubes are open for pregnancy.
If that was years ago, this is unrelated to new symptoms now. Pain in the lower abdominal/pelvic area could be alot of things: ovarian cysts, endometriosis, bladder infection, GI issues, or uterine infection. You may need an ultrasound. Contact a local gyn office for eval.
