Is there increase in disease from the dengue mosquito?

Agree w Dr. Gallant. Aedes aegypti is a vector for yellow fever virus, dengue virus and chikungunya virus. The incidence of all three of these has increased over the last few decades.
Yes. There has been an enormous increase in the incidence of dengue over the last 40 years, probably due to a combination of urbanization, population growth, increased international travel, global warming, and a decrease in mosquito control programs.
