DPT Vaccine is only given to babies and children at ages of 2,4,6,15-18 months and booster 4to6 years of age as DPT is a Pediatric Vaccine and is not used after the age of 6 years At age 11to18 years we give another formulation called Tdap preferably11 to12 And a booster of DT(adult) is given every 10 years and after 5 years if contaminated wound DPT IS PEDIATRIC VACCINE GIVEN UPTO AGE 6 YEARS
