In brief: ADHD & mood

Depends on the type of adhd medication, for example, stimulants such as Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) raise the mood & improves alertness, but can trigger anxiety in ones predisposed to anxiety.
Some other medications for adhd such as Clonidine can blunt affect & cause sedation.

Stimulants often improve/stabilize mood which can be labile with much irritability in ADD.
