Is it possible for the MMR vaccine to cause autism.?

In brief: No

This has been disproved with multiple studies.
And, the original study was pulled from the literature, because the data, and there for the conclusion, were made up. Thimerosol, also, does not cause autism.

In brief: Not a likely cause

Mmr (and other) vaccines may in a small number of children produce an adverse reaction that results in major damage to the brain.
Children with damaged brains of whatever cause may have an increased risk for autism or symptoms that look like it. That's different than saying that MMR vaccine causes autism. Massive studies have shown that no correlation--and big problems when vaccine rates drop.

In brief: Not really...

Mmr does not cause autism but.
... Too many parents report regression after this vaccine for it to not contribute somehow. The study by dr wakefield was reproduced with 275 children at wake forest university in 2006 and came up with the same results as his study.. It is helpful to take cod liver oil for 2 weeks before the vaccine to prevent depletion of vitamin a stores.

In brief: No evidence

There is a huge amount of research evidence that autism is not caused by this vaccine.
And there is literally no evidence of a scientific nature supporting this claim. Several studies have demonstrated thru the use of existing videos, that children who were reported to change after the vaccine actually had signs before, not recognized by the parents. So be wise and immunize.
