In brief: Too high? low?
It depends on why your potassium is abdormal.
Are you taking a diuretic? Do you have normal kidney function? You should get a list of high potassium foods and avoid them if yours is too high or eat more of them if it's too low. Here is a list from university of michigan. There are many others: http://www.Med.Umich.Edu/1libr/aha/highpotassiumfoodlist.Pdf.

Dr. Mahnensmith is right. Here's a great page with some others, including vegetables (often less calories) with potassium: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?dbid=90&tname=nutrient

In brief: To bring K up
Foods will help to increase potassium not decrease it.
If you are interested in increasing potassium, bananas, other fresh fruits and juices, milk will help. For a more complete list consult the website given below: http://potassiumrichfoods.Com/potassium-rich-foods-list/.
