Should a 7 CM ovarian cyst that is causting severe pain (16 yr old daughter can barely move) be removed? How soon?

It could suddenly twist or burst, resulting in emergency surgery. Probably not a cancer. It could likely be removed using a laparoscope, resulting in small incisions. The sooner it is removed the better.
