In brief: Be careful

Further surgery may exacerbate rsd or what is now called complex regional pain syndrome.
She should be seen by a pain management sprcialist to see if it can be under better control prior to surgery. If surgery is elective, it should be put off for as long as possible to treat the rsd condition or avoided if possible looking at other treatment alternatives other than surgery if that is an option.
