1 doctor agrees
In brief: 100%
Measles used to be a common childhood illness and most children got it and did fine like all illnesses there are some who get a more severe case and have complications which can be life threatening.
If you are in poor health or immunocompromised then you are at risk for problems. Healthy people often do fine. Cod liver oil can be very helpful as can some chinese herbs that support the immune syst.

In brief: Depends
Most will do okay, but having high fever and feeling horrible for 5 days to a week is not something to look forward to.
Once you survive, you may be the source case that starts the endemic for the 1/1000 that does not. Or the few who spend days in the hospital for measles pneumonia. If you want to be selfish, you can avoid the vaccine, but the tribe will consider you a burden and worthy of disdain.
