In brief: Only if

Only if the scoliosis is still flexible and due to another reason that is forcing the spine to bend, ie muscular spasm being generated by another issue like a kidney stone.
If it is a type of scoliosis known as congenital or idiopathic, the answer is no.

In brief: No

Only surgery can change the natural course history of scoliosis for smaller curves braces in growing adolescents shows a weak effect not all scoliosis is painful or limiting surgery is done to prevent progressive deformity avoiding the misery that comes with huge curves 45degree and larger are what i consider big or severe complication with surgery goes up outcomes goes down at curve magnitudeof70.

In brief: Probably not

If you truly have a structural scoliosis and it is greater than 45 degrees, only surgery can correct it.
All that being said, I have seen patients who have been told they have severe scoliosis and do not, or they may have a non structural cause that is inherits fly treatable. For example, a person with a leg length discrepancy can have a non structural curve treated by a shoe lift. Thank you.
