In brief: Many possibilities

Several things come to mind: pregnancy, gallbladder problem, ulcers, stomach virus, food poisoning.
See your doc for evaluation & treatment, or if the problem persists, go to er, especially if you've been unable to keep anything down. Could result in dehydration & electrolyte imbalance (low potassium).

In brief: Gastritis

Stomach pain can be related to multiple issues.
Gastritis is very common cause. In addition an ulcer can cause that as well. Biliary colic or passing a gallbladder stone is another possibility. A blood test is needed as well as a gastroscopy to make the diagnosis with physical exam by a physician.
