In brief: Bad Advice

Taking more synthroid (thyroxine) than you need will only cause trouble in the long run.
Hyperthyroidism can be dangerous causing rapid and possibly irregular heart beat, high blood pressure, risk of stroke and heart attack, digestive diseases, just to name a few. Long term, count on osteoporosis which could impair your moving around severely over time.

If this is related to your prior question look at the answer. Do not listen to your sister, she might have good intentions, but does not know the consequences.

In brief: No, do not do this.

If you are already on thyroid medication, the dose is individually adjusted based on your specific symptoms and lab results.
Please do not change the dose on your own! This can cause many problems. Discuss your concerns with your doctor.
