Does applying moisturizing hand cream affect fingernail fungus? In terms of moisture? Makes nails look better but scared of making it worse!

In brief: Avoid

I would avoid it - fungus thrives in a moist environment.
Instead of moisturizing cream why not apply antifungal cream or medication and try and kill the fungus.
