Common cause of genital/groin rash is fungus (tinea cruris) which thrives in warm, darm, moistness of groin area.
Antifungal creams/sprays used for athlete's foot will also treat this area. Sanitize underwear to kill fungus; change often if damp; keep dry with talc (no cornstarch!) or antifungal spray. Treat for at least 1 week after rash seems to resolve. May recur.
