In brief: Talk to doctor
Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not a good choice for an alcoholic, the effects of tylenol (acetaminophen) and alcohol on the liver are additive and more toxic that each one by itself.
Nsaids are a risk as well. See you doctor and talk about the alcoholism as well, there is help and doctors want to help, at the least may be able to provide a safer pain med, only if they know about the alcoholism, if doctor is in the dark, dangerous.

In brief: Tylenol (acetaminophen)
Tylenil is about your best bet.
But, they aren't good for your liver or kidneys if taken in excess. Aspirin and nsaids (motrin) can cause stomach bleeding as does chronic alcohol use. Try to limit any of those and do seek help from a friend or a professional. There are many people (like myself) who would gladly attend a 12 step meeting with you. No i'm not the one who needed it.
